DRESS YOUR TECH (DYT) CAMPAIGN

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Campaign Period: 1 November 2025 – 31 January 2026

 

  1. CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

1.1 The Dress Your Tech ("DYT") Campaign ("the Campaign") is an internal sales incentive programme operated by Telkom SA SOC Limited ("Telkom" or "the Company") through the Ignite platform.

1.2 The Campaign is designed to reward Branch Managers and Sales Agents ("Participants") for achieving specified sales targets during the Campaign Period.

1.3 Participation in this Campaign is voluntary and supplementary to normal employment obligations.

 

  1. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Campaign is open to all active Telkom Branch Managers and Sales Agents employed at participating Telkom Customer Service Business ("CSB") locations during the Campaign Period.

2.2 To be eligible for rewards, Participants must:

    • Be permanently employed by Telkom or an authorized franchise partner during the entire Campaign Period
    • Have active access to Telkom systems required to process qualifying transactions
    • Comply with all Telkom policies, procedures and ethical guidelines

2.3 Telkom reserves the right to verify eligibility and may request supporting documentation at any time.

2.4 Employees involved in the administration, judging or management of this Campaign, including Ignite and E-Centive staff, are not eligible to participate.

 

  1. QUALIFYING SALES CATEGORIES & REWARDS

Participants may qualify for rewards across multiple categories. The following reward structures apply:

3.1 Branch Manager Categories

3.1.1 Top 30 Branch Managers - Flexon 6-10 with 25% DYT Voucher

    • Reward: R750 DYT voucher per winner
    • Qualification: Highest volume of Flexon 6-10 package sales that include a 25% DYT voucher

3.1.2 Top 30 Branch Managers - Infinite with 50% DYT Voucher

    • Reward: R1,000 DYT voucher per winner
    • Qualification: Highest volume of Infinite package sales that include a 50% DYT voucher

3.2 Sales Agent Categories

3.2.1 Top 50 Sales Agents - Flexon 6-10 with 25% DYT Voucher

    • Reward: R750 DYT voucher per winner
    • Qualification: Highest volume of Flexon 6-10 package sales that include a 25% DYT voucher

3.2.2 Top 50 Sales Agents - Infinite with 50% DYT Voucher

    • Reward: R1,000 DYT voucher per winner
    • Qualification: Highest volume of Infinite package sales that include a 50% DYT voucher

3.2.3 Top 100 Sales Agents – Flexon 4 Once-Off Voucher Sales

    • Reward: R500 DYT voucher per winner
    • Qualification: Highest volume of Flexon 4 deals sold that include once-off DYT vouchers

3.3 Weekly Prize Category

3.3.1 Weekly Top Performers

    • Reward: Audio Accessory (5 winners per week)
    • Qualification: Top-selling Branch Manager and Sales Agents for each weekly period
    • Weekly periods commence on Mondays and conclude on Sundays during the Campaign Period

 

  1. SALES VALIDATION & VERIFICATION

4.1 Only sales transactions that are successfully captured, processed and validated through Telkom's authorized systems during the Campaign Period will qualify.

4.2 All qualifying sales must comply with Telkom's sales policies, including but not limited to:

    • Proper customer verification and documentation
    • Accurate product and pricing information
    • Complete and valid customer consent
    • Adherence to anti-fraud measures

4.3 Sales that are subsequently cancelled, reversed or identified as fraudulent will be excluded from Campaign calculations and may result in disqualification and disciplinary action.

4.4 Telkom reserves the right to audit any and all sales transactions and may request supporting documentation.

4.5 In the event of discrepancies between system records, Telkom's master sales database shall be considered the authoritative source.

 

  1. RANKING & TIE-BREAKING

5.1 Participants will be ranked based on the total volume of qualifying sales within each category during the Campaign Period.

5.2 In the event of tied rankings:

    • Priority will be given to the Participant whose qualifying sale was recorded earliest during the Campaign Period
    • If ties persist, Telkom management will determine the winner at their sole discretion

5.3 Weekly rankings will be calculated independently for each weekly period and do not carry over between weeks.

 

  1. REWARD DISTRIBUTION

6.1 DYT vouchers will be distributed electronically within 30 (thirty) business days following the conclusion of the Campaign Period, subject to verification and validation of all qualifying sales.

6.2 Weekly audio accessory prizes will be distributed within 30 (thirty) business days following the conclusion of the Campaign Period, subject to verification and validation of all qualifying sales.

6.3 Telkom is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of rewards after distribution to the winner(s).

6.4 Winners will be notified via official Telkom communication channels.

 

  1. TAX IMPLICATIONS

7.1 All rewards are subject to applicable tax legislation in South Africa.

7.2 It is the responsibility of winners to declare winnings in their annual tax return submissions.

7.3 Participants are responsible for any tax liabilities arising from rewards received.

 

  1. DATA ACCURACY & SYSTEM DEPENDENCIES

8.1 Campaign performance tracking is dependent on accurate data capture and system integration between Telkom's sales systems and the Ignite platform.

8.2 Participants acknowledge that system delays, data processing timeframes or technical issues may impact real-time performance visibility.

8.3 Telkom nor Ignite is not liable for any losses, damages or disadvantages suffered by Participants due to system errors, delays or inaccuracies, provided reasonable efforts are made to resolve such issues.

8.4 Final Campaign results will be based on verified data following reconciliation processes.

 

  1. DISQUALIFICATION

9.1 Telkom reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who:

    • Engages in fraudulent, deceptive or unethical sales practices
    • Manipulates or attempts to manipulate Campaign results
    • Violates any Telkom policy or procedure
    • Provides false or misleading information
    • Engages in conduct that brings Telkom into disrepute
    • Is found to be ineligible under clause 2

9.2 Disqualified Participants forfeit all rewards and may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

 

  1. CAMPAIGN MODIFICATION & CANCELLATION

10.1 Telkom reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this Campaign at any time if:

    • Circumstances arise that are outside of Telkom's reasonable control
    • Technical failures compromise the integrity of the Campaign
    • It is deemed necessary in Telkom's sole opinion
    • Legal or regulatory requirements necessitate changes

10.2 In the event of Campaign cancellation, Telkom will not be liable to Participants for any cause or action whatsoever, including loss of potential earnings or rewards.

10.3 Any modifications to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated via the E Centive / Ignite platform and other official channels.

10.4 Continued participation following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

 

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

11.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11.2 Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Telkom and Participants regarding the Campaign and supersede any prior understandings or agreements.

11.3 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11.4 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Campaign shall be resolved through Telkom's internal procedures.

11.5 No Employment Rights: Participation in this Campaign does not create any additional employment rights or modify existing employment terms.

11.6 Publicity Rights: Winners consent to the use of their names, photographs and likenesses for promotional purposes related to the Campaign without additional compensation.

11.7 Privacy: Participant information will be processed in accordance with Telkom's Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

11.8 Interpretation: In the event of any ambiguity or inconsistency, Telkom's interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be final and binding.

11.9 Communication: Official Campaign communications will be disseminated through the Ignite platform and authorized Telkom channels. Participants are responsible for regularly checking these sources for updates.

 

  1. ACCEPTANCE

12.1 Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

These Terms and Conditions are effective from 1 November 2025.
